Preschool Community Parent Involvement Specialist

Dear Dunellen Families, 

I am excited to be your  Preschool Community Parent Involvement Specialist. In this role, I will be working with parents, guardians, and community partners to strengthen the connection between home and school. My goal is to create meaningful opportunities for families to become actively involved in their child’s education and to help build a strong, supportive school community.

Some of my responsibilities include:

• Supporting parents with resources and information to enhance student success.
   
• Organizing family engagement events, workshops, and activities.
   
• Encouraging communication and collaboration between families, staff, and the community.
   
• Assisting students with special needs in the preschool general education classroom. 

In addition, I coordinate and lead our Early Childhood Advisory Council (ECAC). This council is made up of dedicated stakeholders from our school and community who work together to support the needs of our high-quality preschool program.

While participation in the council is voluntary, the contributions of its members are essential to ensuring the growth and success of our preschoolers.
