Dunellen High School will be holding its first day of class on Tuesday, September 3rd. The day begins at 7:40 am so please be on time. Students will follow an EARLY DISMISSAL schedule, from 7:40 am - 11:59 am. 

For 9th graders, Transition Project is a peer leader program that pairs upperclassmen with incoming freshmen. Together, they work to help the 9th graders make a successful transition into high school.

We will begin this program on Tuesday, September 3rd, after the other students are dismissed. Lunch will be served for the 9th graders in the DHS Cafeteria. We will have a Freshman Activity Program to kick off the year's Transition Project.

It is expected that ALL 9th graders attend the program. Students will be dismissed no later than 2:30 pm.

Please remember to go onto Genesis to see student class schedules and acknowledge the forms that are posted. Students should make note of their HOMEROOM number so they know where to go Tuesday morning. If they don't know their Homeroom, lists will be posted in the Auditorium Lobby area for students to check.
