Tuesday, June 17 - Pd. 2 & make ups
1st exam of the day - 8:00 am - 9:30 am

Congratulations to the Senior girls as they won the annual Powder Puff football game this week. It was a hard fought game but the 12th graders came out victorious over the 11th graders.

Fantastic job by Mr. Sutera and the DHS Bands with their concert last week! It was an entertaining 2 hours, with performances by the many groups at the high school: Jazz Band, Concert Band, Saxophone Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Saxophone Quartet, and a number by the combined DHS and LMS Bands. Another amazing job, providing everyone in attendance (a packed house) a night to remember with some great music.

This week, the Fine Arts Show showcased the many talents of our DHS students in the areas of visual art, woodworking, and computer design. The professional work that was on display was truly amazing and a testament to the hard work and dedication spent by so many students. Thank you to Mr. Shimko, Mr. Roibal, Mr. Howard, Mr. Santiago and Mr. Lakatos for all of their efforts and putting on such a great show.

Thank you to Ms. Piano and the DHS Choir and Madrigals with their concert! Another night of beautiful music performed in front of a standing room only audience. The many hours of rehearsal paid off and we were all fortunate to witness such a magical night.

Congratulations to the Executive Student Council members for the 2025-2026 school year:
President - Douglas Guardado Sibrian
Vice President - Lisa-Marie Nieves
Secretary - Devyn DaSilva
Treasurer - Alex DeVesa

As the school year draws to a close, we want to thank our students for another successful school year, filled with learning, hard work, and fun (at least some of the time.)  There was a lot to be proud of with successes in the classroom, as well as good times with classmates, teachers, and friends. We hope all of the students have an enjoyable summer, relaxing, working, and doing at least some reading over the course of the summer!

All the best!!
