Main Entrance

Hello Destroyers

Today ends the first half of the 2025-26 school year. Monday, we start the 3rd quarter.

That is, of course, dependent upon the weather! It looks like we are in for a big winter storm this weekend with potentially a lot of snow and frigid temperatures. If there is any change to the school schedule, notifications will be sent out.
Stay warm, stay safe, and enjoy the weekend, whatever it may bring!!

Important Reminders

The DHS Homework Help Center runs from 2:45 - 3:45 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the DHS Tech Center. Students can come to get extra help from teachers with their school work or just sit and have a quiet place to get things done. We encourage students to attend so that they have fewer or no assignments to do when they get home.

From Mrs. MacManus, the School Nurse: If your child is not feeling well, please monitor how they are and do NOT send them to school if they are sick. With the cold and flu season in full swing, we want to keep all of our staff and students healthy and safe. Your cooperation with this is appreciated.

For the Class of 2026: As college acceptances start to roll in, please be sure to contact Ms. Markert and the counseling office so that they are aware and help to make sure everything is taken care of with your college of choice.

The 2025 Exodus Yearbook is on sale. To purchase a yearbook, use the following link: https://www.jostens.com/apps/store/customer/1057616/Dunellen-High-School/

Academic Corner: From the desk of Mr. Lynch

This marks the end of the first half of the school year. We would like to acknowledge the hard work and dedication from the majority of students so far this year. They have taken great strides in their academic pursuits and are doing an amazing job! For those that may have struggled, we continue to provide support for students so that they can try to reach their full potential and achieve success in the classroom.

Thank you to all of the DHS teachers and support staff that continue to give it their all on a daily basis, working to provide a positive learning environment for the students and to help them grow to be successful, contributing members of the Dunellen community.
