Dear Parents and Guardians,

Dunellen High School will be administering NJSLA in English - Reading & Writing to 9th graders and Science to 11th graders on Tuesday, April 28th and Wednesday, April 29th, during the regular school day, starting at 7:40 am each day.

Students need to be to school on time with their fully-charged Chromebook.

Students in Grade 9 are required to take the New Jersey Student Learning Assessments (NJSLA) assessments that measure student proficiency with the New Jersey Student Learning Standards in English Language Arts (ELA).   Students in Grade 11 are required to take the NJSLA Science component. 

Grade 9 - April 28 - NJSLA Reading is 150 minutes of testing for 1 unit. 

• April 29 - NJSLA Writing is 90 minutes of testing for 1 unit. 

Grade 11 - April 28 & 29 - NJSLA Science is 120 minutes of testing, 2 units each day.
