Important Reminders

For the Class of 2026: The College Acceptances bulletin board is up at DHS. We are displaying the names of students and the colleges that they have been accepted to. As the college acceptances roll in, please be sure to contact Dr. Best and the Counseling Office so that they are aware and can add the names and schools for display.

REMINDER: The DHS Homework Help Center runs from 2:45 - 3:45 pm every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the DHS Tech Center. Students can come to get extra help from teachers with their school work or just sit and have a quiet place to get things done. We encourage students to attend so that they have fewer or no assignments to do when they get home.

Academic Corner: From the desk of Mr. Lynch:

In recognition of his Teacher of the Year award, we want to thank Mr. Sutera for all he does at DHS. Mr. Sutera teaches Music Theory classes and is the director of the DHS and LMS Bands. He has done an amazing job recruiting new musicians and having a dedicated group that love to play music together. Mr. Sutera continues to look at new ways to expand the Ensemble groups so that more students can be highlighted in their area. He conducts the Pit Band for the Spring Musical and the Pep Band at all home football games. Mr. Sutera has made great contributions to the Dunellen community and we look forward to seeing what he can do for years to come.
