Jan-Mar Webinars

We're excited to invite you to three upcoming webinars that will equip you with the latest research, trends, and strategies to help you address substance use and support the health of your community.

January 28: Wellness for Busy Students & Athletes

Students balancing academics, sports, and leadership roles face unique stressors that can impact their wellness. Tina George of Caron Treatment Center’s Education Alliance will explore how stress affects young people physically and mentally and highlight healthy coping strategies. From caffeine and over-the-counter medications to alcohol and opioids, learn about the risks of various substances and how to help students stay balanced and substance-free.

February 18: Vaping in 2025

Vapes are more powerful and dangerous than ever, with new products targeting youth and evading regulations. Dr. Aaron Weiner is returning to share his latest research on the risks of vaping, its impact on mental and physical health, how companies are targeting youth, and how to help guide youth away from these harmful behaviors.

March 4: Risks of Modern Marijuana

Today’s marijuana products, from dabbing to delta-8 THC, pose serious risks to adolescent brain development and mental health. Laura Stack, founder of Johnny’s Ambassadors, brings a firsthand account of her family’s experience with the devastating effects of high-potency marijuana. This session will provide parents and professionals with the tools to recognize warning signs, have impactful conversations, and take action to prevent substance use.

Each webinar is free, but registration is required. Don’t miss the chance to gain valuable insights and tools to protect and support your family and your community.
